Travelers who choose to leave their own car for parking at the port can leave their car in a well-lit garage with security or in an open lot, which is also well-lit and gated. The price for parking at the Port for either is $20 per day.

Port of Miami Overview
The Port of Miami is easy to get to by car, taxi or shuttle. If you are flying into the Miami International Airport, many cruise lines offer free shuttles that will take you to your cruise terminal. Cruises from the port are often a memorable and relaxing cruise vacation! Once the cruise is booked and shore excursions chosen, the next thing you'll have to think about is parking. The Port of Miami cruise terminal is located near a number of clubs, bars, restaurants and hotels; many of which are within walking distance and ideal for parking at the port.
Passengers cruising out of the port will find a selection of cruise lines to choose from including Azamara Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, Costa Cruises and Crystal Cruises.

For passengers that drive to the port, finding parking can be a challenge if you don't plan ahead. If you are not driving yourself and parking at the port, other options aside from a limo or cab, is having a friend or family member drop you off at the port. The Port of Miami allows non-travelers to drop off passengers at any time. American Shuttle and Go Airport Shuttle take passengers to and from the port every day. Rental car companies such as Dollar and Hertz both have locations at the Port of Miami.
The Port of Miami's location in downtown Miami ensures that it is within walking distance from hotels, such as the InterContinental Miami and Holiday Inn Port of Miami, and a short cab ride to the Mandarin Oriental Miami.
If you're visiting the port, you have to try Cuban cuisine at Bongo's Cuban Cafe. For other dining options, there's also Ceviche 105, Seaman's Cafe, Chophouse and The Knife Steakhouse.
Attractions & Entertainment
For entertainment purposes, restaurants such as Bongo's Cuban Cafe and Ceviche 105 are both located near the Port of Miami. Bongo's Cuban Cafe transforms into a nightclub in the evenings, providing a myriad of entertainment to guests. There are a number of other restaurants, shops and boutiques in the Bayside Marketplace, which is adjacent to the port. Don't forget to visit Parrot Jungle Island, Art Deco Center and the Everglades Safari Park!
If you love shopping, you should check out the Shops at Midtown Miami. The mall is 600,000 square feet and it's full of amazing shops to keep you busy throughout the day. Bayside is also an excellent choice for shopping, as well as dining and entertainment.
